The investors, who lost the opportunity to invest in Gold Bonds may now avail the trading facility on NSE, BSE and add the Gold investments in their portfolio at ease.
Sovereign Gold Bond Tranches are now available on the Exchanges under GB series.
The government of India is providing options for the citizens to invest in the Gold in the form Bonds. The Government is inviting applications periodically.
The tenor of the Bonds provide exit option only after 5 years. Now the investors have the liberty to sell / buy the Gold Bonds at the platform of the Exchanges (NSE, BSE).
The Sovereign Gold Bond parameters are as under :
